Bates Nissan Proudly Serves Killeen, TX

Killeen, Texas
As a big city in the middle of Texas, Killeen has tons of activities and events. With over 125,000 residents, the city has come to be known as the place to be in the region, offering plenty to do for every age group and demographic. Few communities are more welcoming or diverse than Killeen.

The city was founded largely as a result of the expansion of the Santa Fe Railway in the late nineteenth century. It wasn’t until the twentieth century that the city grew thanks to the creation of Fort Hood for military training. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan also contributed to the city’s surge in military personnel and families. In fact, the city has increased so rapidly since the end of the Second World War that it is one of the fastest-growing cities in the entire US.

Looking for something fun to do with friends or coworkers? One of the top-rated places to visit in the area is the Great Escape of Central Texas. Basically, you’ll be locked in a room and asked to solve challenging puzzles with your friends. Think you can break out in time? This activity is more difficult than it might seem. Nonetheless, it’s a great team-building exercise or a friendship builder.

The Lion’s Club Aquatics Park is also a great place to head to for an unforgettable time. This park has it all, including expansive pools, water slides, and plenty of space to relax. This park provides an excellent way to cool off on especially hot days, and it is also great fun for the kids. You won’t want to leave the water as soon as you dip your feet in.

These are just some of the fun things to do in the area. Killeen is a great place to visit. Here at Bates Nissan, we’re proud to serve the area. If you’re looking for a new Nissan model in Killeen, look no further than Bates. We’ve got you covered.
