Bates Nissan is proud to serve San Antonio, TX, one of the state’s most beloved cities! There are numerous reasons to adore San Antonio, like the flamenco music, chili, food, and 18th century landmarks that form the rich backdrop for anyone living or visiting in the Alamo City.

Most people come to San Antonio to visit the Alamo, the most popular tourist attraction in the whole state, which honors the hallowed ground where the Texans and Tejanos refused to give ground to Santa Anna’s army. Over time, the historic battle site has come to symbolize Texas liberty itself.

Another top attraction is the River Walk, an unusual urban sanctuary that takes you on cypress-lined paved paths, under arched stone bridges, and through lush landscapes across the city center. It acts as a hub for the city’s hot spots, making it easy to reach its best cultural and historical sites while making the journey just as memorable as the destination.

San Antonio is also home to numerous theme parks that make it a haven for parents seeking a day (or more) of entertainment and thrills. There is a Six Flags and a SeaWorld as well as hours of water adventures at Schlitterbahn and Splashtown. Morgan’s Wonderland is also a favorite destination for families thanks to its all-inclusive, ultra-accessible design.

That’s not to say families can only enjoy themselves at theme parks: there’s also the zoo, aquarium, the Natural Bridge Cavern with its 100-foot waterfall, the safari-like Wildlife Ranch, an anti-gravity house at Wonder World Park, and countless parks and playgrounds for people of all ages to have a good time.

The local arts and culture scene is nothing to scoff at, either. San Antonio is home to the first museum of modern art in Texas and features numerous art centers, museums and galleries, historic buildings and monuments, and plenty other attractions that have the artsy folk among us constantly coming back for more.
